[Old Weeds Observations] #花旗上调比特币目标价至11万美元
Citibank suddenly raised the 12-month target price for $BTC from $82,000 to $113,000.
ETH didn’t miss out either: the target price was raised from $2,240 to $3,028.
Citibank gave three reasons:
1) A rebound in activity in the crypto market.
2) An improvement in the macro environment.
3) ETF capital has started flowing back in.
Pay attention to one detail: this isn’t a trade call from a certain Crypto KOL. It’s a traditional financial institution directly lifting its target price by nearly 38%. This shows that Wall Street’s logic around Crypto is changing now.
Previously: BTC rises → institutions start to chase.
Now: institutions start pricing in valuations in advance based on capital flows, ETFs, and the macro environment.
Of course, a target price isn’t a promise—especially now that BTC is still stuck around $85,000. The real test is whether the money can keep coming in.
But one thing is becoming increasingly clear: institutions are not treating this round of the crypto rally as an end. They’re waiting for liquidity to truly return. Don’t underestimate the profit from a few percentage points. Small gains add up to big gains.
