๐Ÿ“ˆ WHEN TO TAKE A LONG & WHEN TO TAKE A SHORT?

One of the biggest mistakes traders make is entering a trade just because a candle looks bullish or bearish.

Donโ€™t predict. Wait for confirmation.

๐ŸŸข WHEN TO CONSIDER A LONG

Look for a combination of these signals:

โœ… Price is making Higher Highs + Higher Lows
โœ… Price holds a strong support/demand zone
โœ… Resistance gets broken with strong volume
โœ… After a breakout, price retests the level and holds it
โœ… Short-term trend is above the 9/21 EMA
โœ… Bullish candle confirmation appears after the retest

Simple setup:

Support โ†’ Bounce โ†’ Breakout โ†’ Retest โ†’ Confirmation โ†’ ๐Ÿš€ LONG

Don't chase the first pump. The retest often gives a much cleaner entry.

๐Ÿ”ด WHEN TO CONSIDER A SHORT

Look for the opposite structure:

โŒ Price is making Lower Highs + Lower Lows
โŒ Price rejects a strong resistance/supply zone
โŒ Support breaks with strong selling volume
โŒ Broken support gets retested and rejected
โŒ Price remains below the 9/21 EMA
โŒ Bearish candle confirmation appears

Simple setup:

Resistance โ†’ Rejection โ†’ Breakdown โ†’ Retest โ†’ Confirmation โ†’ ๐Ÿ”ป SHORT

Again, don't blindly short the first red candle. Wait for confirmation.

๐Ÿง  THE GOLDEN RULE

LONG = Buy strength after confirmation.
SHORT = Sell weakness after confirmation.

And remember:

A good setup without risk management is still a bad trade.

Before entering, know 3 things:

๐ŸŽฏ Entry
๐Ÿ›‘ Stop Loss
๐Ÿ’ฐ Take Profit

If you don't know where your stop-loss goes before entering, you probably shouldn't enter.

๐Ÿ”ฅ YOUR TURN:

Which setup do you prefer?

๐ŸŸข LONG โ€” Buy the dip
๐Ÿ”ด SHORT โ€” Sell the rejection
