Former ROVE growth lead and former The Arena adviser Amy Street said she resigned from the social crypto company ROVE and the crypto social app The Arena after being repeatedly owed wages last year. According to Foresight News, she said that nearly a year later she still had not received a full accounting of the token allocation due during her tenure, and that unpaid salary and reimbursements remained outstanding.
Street said ROVE boss Jason Desimone had provided a written promise that late payments would stop, but she was told on November 4 last year that her October salary had been sent and never received the funds. She said she resigned on November 12 while working in Abu Dhabi. After her resignation, she said the other side asked her to sign a termination agreement before paying the remaining balance and providing token information.
She also said she and colleagues had advanced event expenses, with some reimbursements still unpaid. In addition, Street said the ROVE app had been inaccessible for about a year and users were not notified in advance to withdraw assets. Jason Desimone told users on September 24 that access would be restored the following week, but the app remains unavailable.
