Bonk Guy’s holdings have pulled back from a peak of $27.6 million to $13.7 million, shrinking by nearly half, but he still hasn’t left the Meme track.
On October 4, data shows that Bonk Guy currently holds meme tokens with a total value of about $13.7 million. His top three spot holdings are PONS (about $4.51 million), USELESS (about $3.83 million), and MARSCOIN (about $2.87 million).
The most noteworthy part of this data isn’t what he still holds, but that after an account drawdown of nearly 50%, he still chooses to heavily weight high-volatility assets.
This suggests his risk appetite hasn’t declined noticeably—while also highlighting just how volatile Meme trading can be. A drawdown a whale can withstand may not be something an ordinary trader can endure.
So don’t simply follow along because you see a whale’s holdings. What’s truly worth watching is whether new capital is added afterward, whether trading volume can increase, and whether PONS, USELESS, and MARSCOIN can see price breakouts.
If capital keeps flowing in, volume expands, and prices move up in tandem, it would indicate the market may have entered another high-Beta rotation cycle. If the holdings remain unchanged but prices keep falling, you should be wary that the whale’s paper losses may continue to grow.
My view is that Bonk Guy is still betting on Meme momentum right now, but it’s more like a high-risk gamble rather than a certain opportunity.
A whale’s holdings can be used as an observation signal, but they can’t replace your own trading discipline.
Do you think this time he’s trying to front-run a bottom, or is he continuing to bet on the next round of Meme momentum?
