The dollar, U.S. Treasuries, and U.S. stocks—watch them together today

Don’t use last week’s rate-cut story to explain what’s happening in the market today.

In macro, these are live prices—not memories:

U.S. Dollar Index 101.92 (5-day +0.55%)
Crude oil 91.11 (5-day +1.94%, Yahoo)
S&P 7,723 (5-day -0.27%, Yahoo)

So: the Dollar Index’s 5-day +0.55% is still strengthening, while BTC over the last 24 hours is only +0.32%. This isn’t liquidity easing—it’s an independent move. I’m discounting its staying power.

Crypto: BTC 84,829 (+0.32%), funding rate 0.0026% (8h, Binance U-margined). ETH +0.71% is stronger than BTC +0.32%, and the exchange rate is 0.03175. This looks more like a spillover of risk-on sentiment—not BTC riding solo.

Next, I’ll watch whether the 10-year yield can stop rising. If yields keep climbing, I’ll treat any rebound in growth stocks and BTC as a pullback.

My position: sidelined. The price hasn’t picked a side, and I haven’t paid for leverage—opening a trade now is basically doing the exchange a favor.

Supporting evidence: out there people are discussing “"bitcoin OR stock market OR 美股" - Google News”. I’m only using it as background—the conclusion should still be based on the numbers in the main text.

Personal view: numbers come from the sources cited in the main text. Not a trading instruction.
