It’s been a long time since I saw STRK have such a strong and rapid upward move. In a short period of time, the price has almost doubled from the bottom.
But what caught my attention isn’t only this pump.
STRK was once considered one of the more “classic” cases in the Layer 2 story—airdrop users came in and then made users disappointed. After STRK, the market continued to witness similar stories with projects like ZKsync.
All of those are names the community had very high expectations for.
As for now, STRK is also seeing some notable catalysts as the project prepares for an upcoming update. Especially, on October 15, an estimated 127 million STRK will be unlocked, equivalent to about 1.3% of the total supply.
So, I won’t rush into FOMO just because I see the price pumping.
A strong pump before an unlock can be an opportunity, but it can also be a very pretty trap to push liquidity up before the new supply shows up.
