After the $BTC volume expanded, has the price completed its confirmation?

First, I’ll check the continuity of the volume, then see whether the price has completed its confirmation.

Finally, I’ll go back to the upper and lower boundaries. Only if the price completes the validation will the current interpretation be kept.

First, look at the order book: this record is up to 08:02 on October 4 (Beijing time). Binance’s $BTC reads 84,783.91 USDT, and OKX’s simultaneous reading is 84,789.40. The trading volume and derivatives readings are: volume ratio 3.84, one-hour OI +0.64%, and funding rate -0.0014%.

If we unfold the timeframes: short- and medium-term periods are not completely identical. 15 minutes -0.03%, 1 hour -0.03%, 4 hours -0.10%. 84,522.63 is the observation point below, and 85,037.63 is the validation point above.

My understanding is: the price hasn’t moved far for now, but the成交量 has already increased. The market is changing hands, and the direction still needs confirmation at key levels. Another interpretation is that both longs and shorts are reducing risk exposure at the same time; the publicly available OI only shows changes in total amount and cannot confirm which side is actively in control. If the price pulls back again into the middle of the range, then the directional judgment from earlier becomes invalid. First, see whether 85,037.63 can hold; then see whether 84,522.63 is broken.
