【That TRX consolidation zone—I'm kinda itching to trade】
If you're holding TRX, do you feel like this—it's not going up, it's not going down, and it's just stuck there wasting time.
I've followed the range from 0.327 to 0.344 for almost a month. On the daily chart, the price mostly hovers right around the mid-band, and both the highs and lows keep narrowing. What else is that, if not building up energy? The 4-hour chart makes it even clearer: a few days ago it probed upward toward 0.344, but there wasn’t enough volume to push through, and then it fell back. Now it's finding balance around 0.335 again. On the 1-hour chart, it's even more delicate—several dips failed to break 0.33, which suggests someone is defending that level.
Honestly, I've seen this kind of consolidation pattern countless times. Back in 2017, EOS also went through something similar, and in the end it broke down. In 2021, I saw the opposite: it ground sideways for a while, then suddenly there was a surge in volume and it shot up. The key question is—who makes the first move this time?
The bulls’ case: the 30-day moving average is still holding, and even if you measure the pullback from the high, the drop is only about 22%—not enough to seriously hurt. The bears’ case: trading volume is getting lower and lower, with no new capital coming in, and market enthusiasm is cooling off.
But what I really want to say is this: TRX’s current logic isn’t really technical at all. Has this coin’s ecosystem and the TRON network’s use-case story—told for years—actually brought in any concrete incremental users? I haven’t seen specific data. Consolidation is one thing; if there’s no new catalyst to break the range to the upside, then in the end it will very likely still choose the direction with less resistance—downward.
So my mindset right now is: I’m itching to do something, but I don’t dare. If it breaks upward, will I chase? Maybe—but my position size will definitely be controlled. In choppy, range-bound markets, it's easiest to lure people in, and then a single pin-prick can drop right through.
What about you? What’s your mindset now? With this TRX move, do you dare to act? Are you itching or not?
