๐Ÿšจ $USDT
Is "Coming Home" to Bitcoin ๐Ÿšจ
Tether just made a big move. A Tether-backed project called Utexo is launching USDT on Bitcoin using the RGB protocol and the Lightning Network, after a $7.5M seed round co-led by Tether.
Why is this interesting? ๐Ÿ‘‡
๐Ÿ”น USDT started on Bitcoin over a decade ago, then moved mostly to Ethereum and Tron. Now it is heading back.
๐Ÿ”น Lightning means fast, low-fee stablecoin transfers directly on Bitcoin's own ecosystem.
๐Ÿ”น It could bring stablecoin use cases (payments, savings, transfers) to people who prefer to stay on Bitcoin.
Big picture: $BTC is trading around the mid-$80Ks and the market mood is leaning bullish. News like this shows stablecoins and Bitcoin are growing closer, not competing.
โš ๏ธ This is still early. Always check how new tools work and do your own research before using them.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Would you use USDT on Lightning? Tell me in the comments!
