Exit from restaking and launch of a DeFi bank: At the end of the third quarter, Ether.fi announced the complete winding down of the restaking direction with EigenLayer. Instead, the team focused on the “Neobank” ecosystem — issuing payment cards, supporting tokenized assets, shares, and deposits.
European listing of ETHFI ETP: The asset manager 21Shares launched a physically backed ETP based on the ETHFI token on the Euronext Paris and Amsterdam exchanges. This provided traditional European investors with direct regulatory access to the asset.
