THE INVISIBLE CLOCK OF TOKENS

You look at the chart.

The market looks at volume.

But there’s a third clock running in silence:

the supply clock.

October began with several tokens entering important unlock periods. And this deserves attention from those who follow the market—especially those who hold these assets.

But before any conclusion:

UNLOCK ≠ DUMP.

Unlocked token does not mean sold token. It means a portion previously locked by vesting can now circulate, depending on the rules and on who receives it.

And that’s exactly where the information that many people ignore is.

🟢 SUI

Sui has a maximum supply of 10 billion SUI and follows a gradual distribution schedule.

The current calendar points to a new release at the beginning of October, estimated at about 23.4 million SUI. (app.tokenomics.com)

But there’s another detail:

October 7 and 8, the Sui Basecamp 2026 takes place, with themes involving AI agents, autonomous payments, and financial infrastructure.

In other words:

UNLOCK + EVENT + AI/AGENTS.

It doesn’t mean that an event will cause a price move. It means that several factors are happening at the same time.

🟢 ENA

October 5 deserves a date mark on the calendar.

The next regular unlock for Ethena is estimated at approximately 171.9 million ENA, related to Core Contributors and investors. (coingecko.com)

And there’s a second layer: about 3.03 billion ENA associated with StablecoinX are no longer subject to the old lock-up restrictions on that date.

But pay attention:

this doesn’t mean that 3.03 billion will be sold.

That’s exactly why simply looking at the unlock number can lead to a wrong interpretation.

🟢 XPL

And that’s how we reach our end-of-month clock.

Plasma has an unlock scheduled for October 25, estimated at approximately 160.7 million XPL — about 1.6% of the total supply in the current references. (app.tokenomics.com)

And most importantly: the project’s vesting continues beyond October.

Therefore, the investor shouldn’t look only at the “next unlock,” but at the trajectory of supply growth over the months.

HOW TO READ AN UNLOCK?

Before reacting, ask yourself five questions:

How much will be released?

What percentage does it represent of the circulating supply?

Who receives it?

Can it be sold immediately?

Is there enough demand to absorb this new supply?

That’s what turns an unlock calendar into useful information.

Because:

100 million tokens don’t mean the same thing for every project.

The impact depends on supply, demand, liquidity, the purpose of the tokens, and the behavior of the beneficiaries.

AND THERE’S A TRAP

Different calendars may show different numbers because they use different methodologies to account for vesting, treasury, cliffs, and distribution categories.

So don’t turn a calendar number into a headline without checking the source.

WHAT’S LEFT FOR OCTOBER?

$SUI has already started its distribution cycle.

$ENA has an important event on 5/10.

$XPL reaches the day 25/10.

And other tokens also have scheduled unlocks during the month.

It’s not a drop forecast.

This is not a sell recommendation.

It’s simply information that can change the way you look at the chart.

The beginner investor looks at the price.

The attentive one looks at volume.

The investor who understands tokenomics also looks at the supply that’s coming.

Because sometimes the chart shows what has already happened.

And the tokenomics show what’s coming.
