Yesterday I mentioned that if you want to short BTC, the best setup would be to fake a breakout above the previous high, then enter for the short—but unfortunately that didn’t happen. It only came close to the previous high before dropping right away.
So currently BTC is still in a consolidation range. If you want to go long later, then you’ll have to look at the 0.618 level of this segment or the support zone between 825 and 816. For shorting, the plan remains unchanged—keep watching the resistance levels $BTC and above.
