Brothers, $BTC is back above 84,000, and ETH is back down to 2664. After messing around for a whole week, it feels like I just had a dream.

Last night I still thought it would go up. But once the data came out and the market digested it, it immediately turned around and flipped its face. When I woke up this morning and saw the sharp drop, I was completely stunned—my position was almost right up against the liquidation price.

In the past, I always felt that if the direction was right, it was fine to hold longer. But I’ve only just realized that saying this is the most harmful thing. Holding for too long makes you start making excuses for yourself: at first you could still cut losses; then it becomes “wait a bit longer,” then “it’s definitely going to come back,” and in the end you even add more to average down your cost.

The most ridiculous part is that when I first opened the position, I clearly knew I was wrong and should have left. But after holding for a few days, it was like I became a different person.

So this time, I’m not going to argue with myself. If I can’t hold for the long term, then I won’t. Starting today, I’m switching to intraday trading: close everything the same day—never leave positions overnight to be at the mercy of emotions and black swans.
