Start and end of a cycle. This time I received a liquidation in my account—very well deserved, of course—because I made a series of senseless mistakes that earned me this loss. And I’m going to tell you about these mistakes so you can learn from my experience!
The first mistake is very simple: once the previous cycle was over and after I had made a profit greater than 200%, I only had to restart the challenge from $20. To do this, all I had to do was close the rest of the positions and withdraw the more than $40 that was left over after finishing. I did the last part—I withdrew the leftover $40—but I decided not to close the positions that remained. It was obvious that my Margin Rate would be very healthy with an accumulated balance of over $60 in the account, but when I withdrew the excess, my Rate skyrocketed due to the excess number of positions, and I ignored it. That led me to my second mistake:
