🤑 Stock Update 20:52

42 hours ago, a golden cross was just revealed. Today, BMNR got hit hard—down 4.49% in one go.

📉 BMNR BitMine -4.49%

Current price: 26.39. Over the past 24 hours, it has been bouncing between 25.97 and 28.21, and most of the earlier rally has basically been given back. Now it’s much closer to 25.97—the low point—and farther from 28.21. Trading volume: 33.12 million USDT. There are still buyers stepping in—liquidity hasn’t dried up. It’s just that the buyers’ strength isn’t as forceful as the sellers’, so the price keeps sticking to the lower end of the range.

The news you can find over the last couple of days is all somewhat bullish. 42 hours ago, a TradingView article said Tom Lee’s crypto bull market thesis added a layer of AI, and at the same time BitMine’s stock chart formed a golden cross. 16 hours ago, stockstotrade wrote about another small-cap, because someone is betting heavily on BitMine, and they labeled it a “moonshot.”

Put these two items in time order. The golden cross happened 42 hours ago. The short-term funds that rushed in based on that technical signal already bought back then. By 16 hours ago, BitMine’s hype had spilled over to other small stocks—people used it as an excuse for speculation. The hype spilled out, but BMNR itself didn’t get any new momentum—no fresh news, no new moves, no new numbers. So for those who chased the golden cross earlier, there’s only one option: to leave. Today’s -4.49% looks more like hot money exiting than anything to do with what’s going on with BitMine itself. The whole narrative is just a single chart plus a nickname—it can’t support a sustained push higher, and it also can’t explain a truly bearish move.

🎯 What to watch
This drop is short-term traders who chased the golden cross getting off the ride. BitMine’s story hasn’t changed; the market’s reaction this time may be a bit overdone.
If the price breaks below the 24-hour low of 25.97, then it can’t be treated as just hype fading—you have to conclude there is real, concrete sell pressure hitting it.
Next, watch the 24-hour high at 28.21. If it can climb back and reclaim that level, then the logic behind the golden cross will have effectively reconnected.

People who chased into the golden cross and those who exited at 26.39 are looking at the same chart. So, who do you think is right?
