The Fhenix confidential computing protocol announced the launch of its mainnet on October 21, 2026 on the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks. Along with it, five applications selected by the project team will begin operating. This is stated in a press release provided by Incrypted.
The foundation of the network will be the CoFHE co-processor, which uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). The technology enables smart contracts to perform computations directly on encrypted data.
Thanks to this, information such as users’ balances, bids, and positions can remain confidential, while smart contracts continue to execute the logic built into them.
Fhenix founder Guy Zyskind said that the mainnet launch will allow users to switch tokens from the public mode to the confidential mode without leaving the Ethereum ecosystem.
At the same time, the project will introduce the Dual-Mode Token Standard. It enables, within a single transaction, switching between public and confidential balances without using bridges, asset wrapping, or moving to another network.
In this case, the token remains compatible with existing wallets and DeFi protocols.$SOL
