Tether-backed Utexo has secured a license to issue USDT on Bitcoin, allowing users to send USDT privately, swap it directly for BTC, and borrow against Bitcoin without wrapping it.
USDT first launched on Bitcoin in 2014, before its use expanded mainly across Ethereum and Tron.
