Tomorrow HYPE repurchase funds are lower than the amount of tokens withdrawn earlier this morning.
Hyperliquid has received its first AQAv2 reserve yield distribution: roughly $14.5 million in passive income generated by the USDC reserves flows into the Assistance Fund to repurchase HYPE.
This morning, a new wallet withdrew 198,290 HYPE (about $17.29 million) from Coinbase Prime.
Both transactions are moving funds into HYPE, but from different sources: the repurchase is the protocol using reserve yield to take action, while the withdrawal is an anonymous wallet moving coins out of an exchange. Like the same piggy bank—one hand putting money in, the other taking money out; the latter is larger: $17.29 million versus $14.5 million.
Next, keep an eye on the next AQAv2 distribution: when it arrives, will it still be in the same ~$14.5 million range?
