BTC rebounds to around 84.6k, but the 1-hour structure hasn’t yet broken out of the pullback-followed consolidation.

As of about 13:30 (Beijing time) on October 3, the latest closed 1-hour candlestick for the Binance BTCUSDT perpetual contract closed at 84,537.5 USDT; the current (not yet closed) candlestick is quoted at about 84,586.4 USDT—snapshot only.

First, look at three regions on this chart. All are analysis references based on recent candlestick behavior:

① 84,400—84,700: A consolidation band where price has repeatedly overlapped during the past few hours. As long as price remains within the band, there isn’t enough evidence to confirm a directional breakout.

② 84,950—85,250: Upper observation zone, including the price and candlestick range during the preceding leg down. If the 1-hour candle closes back above 85,250, and then the subsequent pullback holds above the range, it would weaken the currently bearish consolidation outlook. A single upper-wick is not confirmation.

③ 83,800—84,000: Lower recent low zone, with reference to the low at 83,841.9. If price effectively breaks down and the 1-hour candle closes without reclaiming it, then the support assumption for the recent low would be invalid; you can’t continue to interpret it as “holding the original range.”

Volume also differs: the average traded volume of the most recent 6 closed 1-hour candles is about 1,693 BTC, while the candle that fell to the low earlier was about 14,615 BTC. The consolidation volume is clearly smaller, indicating reduced trading activity during this consolidation. Just because volume has shrunk, you cannot conclude that it must rise or must fall next.

Current takeaway: treat this as consolidation after a pullback for now. A breakout requires confirmation by the candle close and subsequent price action. This is conditional analysis, not order placement advice, leverage guidance, or a profit guarantee.
