WeChat auto-reminder bot implementation

Preparation:
One suitable Android phone + a WeChat account that’s not afraid of being banned

As for what counts as “suitable”? Here’s the answer given by AI: close to stock Android. Recommended brands: Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus/OPPO, Xiaomi.

For specific models, just let the AI recommend. Mine is a OnePlus ACE Racing Edition (12+256) bought on Xianyu.

The phone doesn’t need high performance—just make sure the system is fine and stable.

If the system is too old and you have to modify it too much, it won’t do. I used a very old Hammerhead Nut 2s before, and the data couldn’t be connected.

Monitoring workflow:
Mac monitoring program generates a notification -> connect the Android phone via USB -> use ADB to control WeChat -> send the message to the specified group -> take a screenshot and use OCR to confirm it was sent successfully.

The host and phone can connect wirelessly if they’re on the same Wi‑Fi network, but it’s extremely unstable. The keep-alive program needs to continuously scan, and in the end I chose a stable wired connection.

For the exact operational details, just ask the AI—every answer has a detailed explanation: “With AI, you really don’t need KOLs to write step-by-step tutorials.”

So far it’s been running stably for two days, and it helps a lot for people who often don’t open (or don’t check) the feed and don’t look at TG.

Its biggest current use is integrating Binance Alpha activity reminders into WeChat. I missed three last month—mainly because I was also bringing family along to play. In September, if I hadn’t finally grabbed two at the end, it would have been worse. Damn.
