Genius announced the end of Season 2, with 173 million GP distributed instead of the planned 200 million GP. Users can choose to request a refund or receive GENIUS token allocations under different conditions.

The refund registration period runs from 0:00 on October 7 to 0:00 on October 12. Those who choose this option will be refunded 100% of the fees they paid to Genius, while forfeiting the GP earned in Season 2. All GENIUS tokens purchased to cover the refund will be permanently burned.

Those who do not choose refunds have an additional 5 days from 12/10 to select how to receive their allocation. They can unlock immediately but will have 85% of the allocated tokens deducted, or lock for 24 months to receive 100% of the airdrop allocation.

The 173 million GP has been distributed corresponding to a maximum entitlement of 6.055% of the total GENIUS supply. The remaining 0.945% will be automatically burned, along with the corresponding amount of GENIUS for the refunds.
