Stop-loss got hit; let me say a couple of things.
$BTC —last night that drop hit 83888. I added to my position around 85,000, and it got buried immediately. I’m still holding the order, waiting for an exit to get my break-even back. The funding rate is 0.0025, which feels a bit high, and the shorts are comfortable again today.
Let me focus on one thing: $SAND this move—up 77%, that’s just crazy. Trading volume was 80M to go along with that jump. Honestly, my first reaction was that the market maker was up to something. The chain-game sector hasn’t had any decent, meaningful catalysts lately. Even the Sandbox metaverse project—I haven’t heard about any major progress. A volume-less, explosive rally like this is very likely either the project team or large capital doing a self-promoted performance. With liquidity so thin, a few million can easily pull the price up by dozens of percentage points.
I used to get trapped above 0.07. Now I see people chasing at 0.079—not heroes, just greenhorns. Chasing highs? Forget it—I’d rather miss the trade.
The NFP crash is even more wild: down 65%. The price was directly pushed to 0.00181. Meme coins have no fundamental support, so once they start falling, there’s no bottom. If you don’t cut losses in time with a coin like this, you can end up losing so much you start questioning life.
Bitcoin is ranging around 85,000 with no clear direction right now. I’ll choose to observe and wait for a direction to become clear.
What do you think—can this Sandbox move last? Or are they going to bury another batch of people again?
