TRADING PLAN — NOT JUST NOTES!
Many traders focus on finding new indicators, setups, or strategies. But before entering the market, there’s one simple thing that is often overlooked: having a trading plan.
📋 A trading plan can include:
🎯 Entry — when and based on what conditions to enter a position
🛑 Stop Loss — where you admit the analysis is wrong
💰 Take Profit — the predetermined target
⚖️ Risk — what percentage of your capital you’re ready to risk
⏱️ Timeframe — the timeframe you use
📝 Review — evaluation after the trade is done
Simple example:
Pair: BTC/USDT
Timeframe: 1H
Risk: 1% of capital
SL: 1.5%
TP: 3%
Entry: waiting for setup confirmation
⚠️ A trading plan is not a guarantee of profit.
Its purpose is to help us stick to the rules when the market moves fast and emotions start to show up.
🧠 Don’t let the market decide your actions. Set your plan before you enter.
Do you have your own trading plan, or do you usually enter based on the market conditions at the time? 👇
