Early yesterday morning, CEO Alex Shevchenko stated that he had identified the party behind it. He also demanded that this group of hackers refund the networks within 48 hours. Otherwise, he would bring in the authorities.
In under 24 hours, the hackers returned the entire amount they had hacked on the network, ~3.8M.
Alex Shevchenko also added that next time, they should contribute to the network via Bug Bounty rather than sabotage =))
This scenario is truly very similar to “made-by-content” behavior. Make it yourself, build the content yourself, PR for yourself.😄
Not long before that, Near Intents had also blocked more than 50M from hack funds originating from the Bitget exchange.
