USDT returns to 💰 #Bitcoin
This is quite interesting. More than a decade after Tether first appeared on Bitcoin, USDT is returning to the network through Utexo. 👀
The launch is scheduled for this month and should enable private USDT transfers, direct BTC ↔ USDT swaps, and loans backed by #BTC without depending on “wrapped Bitcoin.”
If it gains traction, Bitcoin could prove useful for something more than just keeping it as a reserve asset. It could also play a bigger role in everyday payments with *stablecoins* and in the settlement of transactions. ⚡️💵
