Ronin Waypoint migration—what’s easiest to miss might not be the tokens, but the badges.
On October 2, Axie’s official reminder: Waypoint will stop service, and the final migration deadline is October 16. It’s also known as social login, a wallet without a seed phrase, or an MPC wallet. Users who only use seed-phrase wallets are not affected by this migration.
The announcement offers two possible destinations: Ronin Stash or a seed-phrase wallet. The migration requires users to complete it themselves; assets will not be moved automatically just because the login method changes. Another detail: bAXS and badges have a separate migration process, and the official notice states that this process can only be completed once.
My view: migration acceptance should be based on the asset checklist—not on whether “login succeeds.” You should confirm, separately, whether the target wallet has received funds, whether the old wallet still has anything missing, and how any special assets are handled. For the actual steps, only follow the official announcement—never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone.
