🚔👮˗ˋˏ₿ ❖ˎˊ˗ BRAZIL'S FEDERAL POLICE PREPARES EXCLUSIVE SECTOR TO TRACE CRYPTO🔶
👨✈️The Federal Police wants to create a permanent structure dedicated to investigating↴
CRYPTO → MONEY LAUNDERING → TRACKING → ASSET RECOVERY
The proposal includes a specific service for cases involving cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets, within a new General Coordination for Repression of Money Laundering and Asset Recovery.
And the numbers help explain the change:
💰 2024 ⥱ R$ 11.1 million in seized crypto
🔥 2025 ⥱ R$ 71 million
This represents more than 6 times the value from the previous year.
But pay attention⤵
⚠️ These figures are seizures linked to criminal investigations—they do not represent the entire crypto market and do not mean that cryptocurrencies are illegal.
Recent investigations have also brought crypto closer to another focus of the PF: illegal betting.
In Operation Veu de Maia, the PF investigated 87 companies suspected of moving resources from irregular operators and found possible transfers of funds abroad through cryptoassets.
Since September 25, MP 1.394/2026 has prohibited the exploitation, offering, brokering, and advertising of fixed-odds betting in Brazil.
The PF’s new design also provides for permanent structures for illegal betting and manipulation of sports results.
The big Change is This ➜ CRYPTO STOPS BEING A ONE-OFF TOPIC AND ENTERS THE PERMANENT FINANCIAL INVESTIGATION ORGANIZATION CHART.
➜ WILL TRACKING CRYPTO BECOME ONE OF THE MAIN WEAPONS AGAINST MONEY LAUNDERING?
