Aave Labs proposed a plan to progressively transfer its brand and intellectual property to DAO governance. During the first phase, the team plans to create a legal entity in the Cayman Islands and appoint an independent general management team. The transfer of ownership of Aave’s registered trademarks, domain names, and code repositories will be handled in subsequent governance votes.
