📎 Microsoft’s official Twitter account was hacked to promote crypto
The attackers changed the avatar to an image of the Clippy mascot, followed a fraudulent crypto account, and posted a repost calling for people to get 500,000 likes in order to “bring back Clippy.”
However, Microsoft quickly regained control of the account, removed the attackers’ posts, and launched an investigation.
