What if the next big blockchain battle isn't for users, but for real-world assets?

That's the direction that $IOST is advancing toward.

The project is developing IOST 3.0, an architecture built on BNB Chain and presented by IOST itself as infrastructure aimed at RWA and asset tokenization.

The proposal goes beyond simply turning a physical asset into a token.

The idea involves a complete chain:

REAL ASSET → TOKENIZATION → IDENTITY → COMPLIANCE → ORACLES → LIQUIDITY → TRADING → CROSS-CHAIN

The infrastructure aims to support cases like securities, real estate, trade finance, and other financial assets, incorporating identity and compliance mechanisms, including KYC/KYB and AML.

Another interesting point is the possibility of separating principal and yield for certain tokenized assets, creating more flexible structures to represent different financial rights.

IOST also works on a modular architecture with features aimed at payments, including PayPIN, as well as interoperability and security mechanisms.

But there is an important difference between a proposal and adoption.

The figures for tokenized assets disclosed by the project itself should be treated as IOST information, not as independent confirmation of market adoption.

And maybe that's precisely what makes the project interesting to follow.

The race to tokenization does not depend only on creating tokens.

It depends on building the infrastructure capable of identifying, registering, moving, trading, and connecting real-world assets to the digital economy.

AAVE is making progress in credit.

$ONDO brings traditional markets closer to the blockchain.

$LINK works in communication between different systems.

And IOST wants to tackle another piece of this puzzle:

the infrastructure to transform real-world assets into components of an on-chain economy.

The question is not just whether IOST will tokenize assets.

Whether it will be possible to build the necessary infrastructure so that they can truly circulate.

That's what is worth keeping an eye on.
