Current gold price is 4154.23. The evening review’s rebound-and-go-short high-altitude strategy was fully realized. The price surged to 4226, the peak, then met resistance and pulled back. The pressure judgment was accurate, and the market’s pace and expectations remained consistent.
Technical outlook: On the 1-hour chart, the Bollinger Bands are opening downward. After a sharp drop from the upper band, the short-side momentum has been released. On the 30-minute chart, the Bollinger Bands open downward in sync, and the price continues to fall. Even with the NFP being favorable, any upside surge is only a brief pulse; the larger timeframe’s bearish structure remains unchanged.
Resistance: 4175, 4192. Support: 4140, 4125.
