📊【Evening Close】The morning rebounded to 84.9k, then surged to 86.9k at night; the employment report fell short of expectations, but prices then climbed back above 87k
As of 21:01 Beijing time on October 2, the crypto market further strengthened after the morning repair:
- Bitcoin at $86,858, up 3.84% in 24h; support $83,400; resistance $87,220
- Ethereum at $2,756, up 2.47% in 24h; support $2,673; resistance $2,777
- BNB at $781.7, up 1.79% in 24h; support $764.3; resistance $783.3
After Bitcoin regained 84.9k in the morning, it surged to 86.9k in the evening. The intraday high reached 87.2k. After reclaiming the quarterly line, it probed toward 85.6k. The total market cap across the whole market is about $2.952 trillion, down 0.37% over 24h. Bitcoin’s dominance is 58.8% (CoinGecko). The majors broadly rose in sync, with Bitcoin leading. The broader market’s window tightened from -1.81% in the morning to near flat, but it has not fully flipped positive yet.
🔍 The US September Non-Farm Payrolls added 29k jobs, below the forecast of 90k, with the unemployment rate at 4.2%. Traders therefore cut back on bets for an October rate hike; the market no longer fully prices in a complete rate hike for the year (PANews). After the release, Bitcoin first moved above 86k, then above 87k.
💡 Liquidity is relatively thin over the weekend. Holding above 87.2k will open room for further upside; if it loses it, traders will look back toward 85.0k. Let’s see whether key integer levels can hold first.
