⚠️ BTC breaks through the 87,000 level! Can the bulls hold on?

📊 Market Snapshot
BTC: $86,903 | 24h +3.56% | Range $83,400-$87,000
ETH: $2,755 | 24h +1.82% | Range $2,673-$2,777

1️⃣ Wyckoff Perspective
BTC has been rising steadily from the 83,186 low and has already broken through the 86,000 resistance zone, entering the marked phase of a short-term uptrend wave. Yesterday saw five consecutive 4H bullish candles, with volume gradually expanding (reaching 5,605 contracts at 04:00 UTC)—a typical demand-dominant pattern. However, near 87,000 there have been multiple rejections and pullbacks. If price fails to break higher with strong volume, watch for downside risk after entering the distribution zone. ETH is weaker than BTC: the rebound lacks strength, so we need to see whether 2,780 can hold.

2️⃣ The 2B Rule Assessment
Around 87,000, BTC is forming a potential 2B structure—price has tagged the prior high but has not yet effectively broken above it (it needs a 4H close above 87,000 to confirm). If the subsequent 4HK line pushes up and then reverses down, breaking below 86,300, the 2B bearish signal is confirmed, with targets revisiting 85,000-85,500. Conversely, if BTC breaks above 87,000 with strong volume and then retests without breaking, the 2B setup fails and the uptrend can continue. For ETH, 2,777 is the key 2B observation point. Prior highs have not been broken yet, so the market remains in a weaker, range-bound state.

3️⃣ Dow Theory
BTC on the daily timeframe: from the 83,400 low, it has bounced and formed a higher low (HL) and a higher high (HH). The short-term uptrend structure is intact. But the main trend so far remains corrective (viewed from higher timeframes), meaning the current move is a secondary rebound. Key confirmation levels: a daily close above 87,000 strengthens the reversal signal; falling below 84,000 suggests the rebound has failed. ETH’s Dow structure is weaker than BTC—it’s still trading in a range of 2,670-2,780 with no clear trend.

🛡️ Trading Strategy
• BTC long holders: Hold if above 86,300. If it breaks down, cut the position by half; stop loss below 85,000.
• Those currently in cash / waiting: Wait for a break above 87,000 and then a confirmed retest before going long, or short after the 2B signal is confirmed.
• ETH: Bearish bias below 2,780; if price breaks above 2,780, follow the trend.
• Position sizing: No single trade should exceed 5% of total capital. At current levels, it’s not ideal to chase longs with heavy weight.
