$ETH Ether just surged up; and when it hit 2780, it gave you a head-on blow!
Is this pullback a chance to get in, or are we about to be disappointed again?
After a few days of grinding, Big Brother finally broke out of the sideways range around 2700. The high reached around 2780, and now it’s back near 2750.
Good thing is, after the spike, it didn’t immediately fall back to where it started. In the short term, the bulls haven’t given up their advantage yet.
Looking at the 1-hour chart, the recent lows have been stepping higher. During the upward move, the open interest also clearly increased, and the market looks much more energetic than the past few days.
However, that long upper wick stands out. The resistance zone around 2780—2800 can’t be underestimated—for now.
My current bias is bullish. Next, the key is how it retraces and holds in the 2720—2740 area. If it can take that support, then there’s confidence to push toward the previous highs again.
If it drops back below 2720 and can’t reclaim it for a long time, then we need to watch out for a return to the 2700 area to grind again.
So at 2747, I’m not in a rush to chase. I’d rather wait for the pullback to stabilize.
If you’re holding long positions from the low end, near 2780—2800 you can take some profit in batches. Keep the remaining position with good protection. Don’t be unwilling to sell when it’s rising, and then unwilling to exit if it falls back.
It’s a good sign that Big Brother is going up—but timing the entry still matters and you should choose a better spot.
