US rankings look great, but the price has another side
For the same market move, the people who held early and those who just saw the leaderboard may have completely different feelings. The gains look impressive, but they won’t automatically turn into profits for latecomers.
In the past 24 hours, the US is up 27.54%. The current price is about 0.026996 USDT. Take another look at the peak: it has already pulled back 32.95% from the highest price in this period.
I put these two sets of numbers side by side to see how much of the rise the rally truly held on to. The leaderboard compares the current price to the window’s starting point, but those who chase higher are bearing the drawdown from the peak to now. These two figures can both be true, and the experience in holding positions can still be worlds apart.
The current price has fallen into the lower half of this range. If I relied on the leaderboard rank alone to label it as “strong,” I’d be more cautious. Only if the price later moves back close to the peak would it be worth increasing expectations for continuation; if the drawdown keeps widening, then it’s time to reassess this optimistic view.
If you were to hide the gain ranking and look only at this drawdown, would you still give it the same evaluation?
