SAND is still rising—why am I seeing the pullback first?
In the same market move, people who held early and those who only just saw the leaderboard may feel completely different. The gains look great, but they don’t automatically become profits for later buyers.
Over the past 24 hours, SAND has risen 50.21%, and the current price is about 0.06429 USDT. Take another look at the peak: it has already pulled back 2.21% from the highest point in this time window.
I put these two sets of prices together to see how much of the rally has actually been preserved. The leaderboard compares now with the start of the window; however, for those who chased, the downside they’re absorbing is the pullback from the peak to the present. Both numbers can be true at the same time, and the experience of holding positions can still be drastically different.
Right now, the price is still in the upper half of this range. You can’t declare the uptrend over just based on the pullback. If it later moves back closer to the highs, then it’s worth increasing expectations for continuation. If the pullback keeps expanding, it’s time to reassess this optimism.
If you hide the gain-ranking and only look at this pullback, would you still give it the same rating?
