#Anthropic最早11月中旬IPO
Anthropic’s earliest mid-November IPO, the AI capital frenzy moves into the public market
Anthropic is reportedly planning to enter the capital markets as early as mid-November. It is expected to begin IPO roadshows the week of November 9, with the goal of completing the listing before Thanksgiving, though the exact timing may still change. The company previously submitted an S-1 filing to the SEC confidentially.
What’s even more noteworthy is the valuation and the scale of the funding behind it. The market currently expects Anthropic’s valuation could reach $1.8 trillion to $2.0 trillion, which would make it one of the most closely watched “super IPOs” in the AI industry to date.
But this company is not a “high-profit tech company” in the traditional sense. In 2025, revenue is estimated at about $4.6 billion, up roughly 12-fold year over year; however, operating losses exceed $8 billion, net losses are close to $42 billion, and it has also committed to future spending on cloud computing, chips, and infrastructure totaling around $518 billion.
The market impact could have three layers:
First, AI valuations will start to face scrutiny from the public markets. After Anthropic lists, its performance will become an important reference point for how investors judge the entire AI capital expenditure cycle.
Second, if AI financing keeps expanding, it will further drive investment in assets such as chips, cloud computing, power, and data centers. Ultimately, this funding chain could flow through to U.S. stocks and global risk assets.
Third, for BTC, the key is not whether Anthropic itself buys crypto, but whether the AI capital frenzy can continue to sustain market risk appetite. If the AI IPO attracts strong follow-on funding and tech-stock risk appetite holds up, BTC could also benefit indirectly; conversely, if a “super AI IPO” faces valuation pressure, it could become a signal for re-pricing of overvalued assets.
So I’m more focused on the “pricing outcome” after Anthropic lists, rather than simply watching the IPO date. It could become an important window for observing the AI bubble, tech-stock valuations, and BTC risk appetite.
Do you think Anthropic’s IPO will keep accelerating the AI sector, or will it serve as a pressure test for AI valuations?
