📈🇹🇷 TURKEY STOCK MARKET AGENDA

🟢 BIST 100 closed Thursday, October 1, with a gain of 2.53% at 12,249.04 points. Daily trading volume was approximately 188.6 billion TL.

🏦 The banking index finished the day up 1.94%, while the industrial index rose 2.34%.

⚠️ On the Istanbul Stock Exchange side, investors’ focus is on the market’s balancing process after the sharp selloffs experienced in September, and developments regarding the fund market. In September, the BIST 100 decline had reached 16.65%.

📊 Today’s focus: Economic data to be released in Turkey and KAP (Public Disclosure Platform) notifications coming from companies will be followed.

🇪🇺📉 EUROPEAN STOCK MARKETS

🔴 In European markets, sharp selloffs were seen yesterday. STOXX 600 fell 1.3%, reaching its lowest level in three months.

🏦 Banking stocks declined 3.7%, making it one of the sectors where selling was most pronounced.

🇫🇷 CAC 40 fell 1.6%. Germany’s and France’s 10-year bond yields also climbed to the highest levels in recent years.

⚡ Energy costs + rising bond yields + the expectation that interest rates may stay high for a long time are among the main factors weighing on risk appetite in European equities.

💊 On a company basis, Zealand Pharma fell 6.1% while Capgemini rose 7.3%. The European technology index gained 0.5%.
