Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics firm, said it tracked about 78% of the Bitcoin holdings of Strategy’s treasury company, worth $55.78 billion. According to ChainCatcher, the tracked amount includes $40.28 billion in Bitcoin held in tagged wallets, as well as $15.5 billion referenced within Fidelity Custody’s custody system.
Displays the portfolio profile of Arkham associated with about 1,600 addresses tied to a strategic stake of 478,199 bitcoins. It uses Fidelity Custody’s pooled custody model, so movements in funds from those addresses may reflect operational adjustments by the custodian more than a change in the client’s ownership.
The strategy said it bought 1,665 bitcoins between September 21 and 27 for $143 million, at an average price of $85,681 per coin. As of the time of the disclosure, the company held 847,666 bitcoins, with total purchase costs of about $63.95 billion and an average cost of $75,437 per coin.
