Ethereum Foundation makes a big move
zkAPI goes live
AI payments could usher in a privacy revolution

Brothers
The Ethereum Foundation is at it again
zkAPI officially goes live on October 1st
V God personally participated in the design
The core is one thing
You pay for AI services with ETH or USDC
But the AI doesn’t know who you are

My first reaction is
Isn’t this basically paving a path for privacy-preserving payments in the AI era?

Let’s make it clear how this thing actually works
First, users deposit ETH/USDC into an on-chain vault contract
Then they generate a private balance token
Next, when calling various APIs
they use a zero-knowledge proof to authorize fee deductions
The service provider can only verify that you have a balance
But they can’t see your wallet address, identity info,
and they also can’t link multiple requests for tracking
You can directly use it to anonymously call AI inference
and all kinds of third-party interfaces
It completely separates payment from identity

So basically it means
The one who pays stays unseen
The one who does the work doesn’t keep records

Isn’t that awesome?
With this, it directly fills an important gap in Ethereum’s privacy layer
ZK tech is no longer limited to scaling
It’s starting to land in API and AI interaction scenarios

This is basically experimental infrastructure
In the short term, it won’t directly cause a huge surge
But it’s part of Ethereum’s long-term foundational upgrades
A long-term positive for the entire ecosystem
