Lobster$龙虾 (Lobster / LONGXIA) is a Chinese meme coin on the BNB Chain (BSC). It was launched in February 2026 via the Four.meme platform. The total supply is fixed at 1 billion tokens, with 100% circulating supply. It has no staking/lockups, no governance rights, no trading tax, no burning mechanism, and no actual functionality or application scenarios. Its narrative comes from the open-source AI agent tool OpenClaw (popular nickname “Lobster”) and the internet meme “养龙虾” (raising lobsters)—and the official OpenClaw team has explicitly stated that it does not issue tokens and does not raise funds. The two have no official connection whatsoever.
So it has no financial reports, no revenue, and no cash flows that can be valued—therefore the traditional “P/E/valuation/expectation gap” framework is completely inapplicable here. What can be analyzed is only: narrative hype, liquidity and token distribution (chips), leveraged capital structure, and exchange dynamics.
Historical range: historical low around 0.0051, historical high around 0.3115 (different sources use different statistical scopes); in mid-September 2026, media reported that its market cap briefly exceeded $170 million to set a historical high. Daily swings of 100% or more and week-to-week fluctuations of ±70% to 900% are the norm for this coin. Under such volatility, any "support/resistance levels" have very limited reference value.
Structural features: leveraged positions dominate, not spot trading.
Binance listed the Lobster/USDT perpetual contract on March 11, 2026 (up to 5x leverage). Bybit also listed LONGXIAUSDT with leverage up to 10x. Spot trading mainly occurs on PancakeSwap, MEXC, HTX, LBank, Gate, and others.
Based on publicly available derivatives data, futures trading volume far exceeds spot trading (one snapshot shows spot volume close to 0, and futures volume at about $120 million). Open interest is only at the scale of a few million USD. This means the price is driven largely by short-term leveraged funds and a battle over funding rates, making explosive rallies and crashes in a chain reaction more likely.
The historical tempo of Chinese Meme Coins is worth warning: similar assets repeat this path with high frequency—"listed on exchanges → explosive pump → collapse at high levels → long-term slow decline".#龙虾疯狂暴涨
Key risks (this matters more than whether it can rise)
1. Risk of going to zero and running away: no team locked up, no roadmap, no practical value—price is 100% driven by sentiment. The default ending for meme coins is going to zero, not going up.
2. Confusion from duplicate-name counterfeit coins: there are multiple tokens on the market called "LOBSTER/龙虾" (some on the Cardano chain and some on the Solana chain), with market caps only ranging from tens of thousands to a few hundred thousand USD. The contract addresses are completely different. Buying the wrong contract means the money is gone directly.
3. Derivatives-related scams are widespread: around the "Lobster" theme there are already many scams—"cloud-raising lobster" compute power rental scams (promising daily returns of 0.73%~1.1%, multi-level referral bonuses—classic Ponzi scheme), paid services that insert Trojans, and fake official announcements for airdrops. The National Internet Emergency Center and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have both issued risk warnings.
4. Law and compliance (Mainland China): On February 6, 2026, eight departments including the People’s Bank of China (the Notice on Further Preventing and Disposing of Risks Related to Virtual Currency, etc.) (Yin Fa [2026] No. 42) clearly state that business activities related to virtual currencies are illegal financial activities. Any unit or individual who invests in virtual currencies and related financial products, violating public order and good morals, shall have the related civil legal acts deemed invalid, with losses borne by the investor themselves. In other words, if you lose money, there is basically no path to pursue rights, and your account may also be frozen due to suspected fraud-related funds.
5. The narrative itself is fading: by the first half of 2026, the peak of the "Lobster Craze" has already passed. Insiders (e.g., comments made at the Zhiyuan Conference) point out that high token costs, technical flaws, and other issues have caused the hype to cool down. The lifeline of meme coins is the narrative—when the narrative cools, price tops usually come first.
Risk warning and disclaimer: The information above comes from public market data sites and media reports. Data from different sources may be in clear conflict; please rely on real-time exchange data. This article does not constitute any investment advice. This asset is extremely high-risk speculative. Participating in virtual-currency trading-related activities in Mainland China is not protected by law, and losses are your responsibility. If you already hold it, it’s recommended that you first think through whether you can "afford to go to zero," rather than "how much more it can rise."
