Trump is shouting about the global lowest interest rates again. $BTC BTC has just nudged up a bit from around 84,600—am I overthinking this?
My first reaction was that this old guy is just feeding the market hype again, since this isn’t the first time he’s made a call like that. But thinking it through, this time feels a little different—the Fear and Greed Index is already at 72, which means the market is already on the hot side. Adding another line like “interest rates need to be the lowest” now is basically handing the bulls a match. BTC is currently hovering around 84,600, with trading volume at 12 billion; volume hasn’t exploded, but it hasn’t shrunk either, and structurally it’s considered to be holding steady. ETH around 2,700 is lukewarm, BNB at 770 has barely moved, and SOL at 119 is also sluggish—only Bitcoin is carrying the flag.
My tiered view is like this: first tier, see whether BTC can firmly hold 84,600. If a retest doesn’t break it, then look toward 86,000; if it breaks, then we’ll talk about something else. Second tier is the TRUMP coin—his name is all over the trending searches, and the news flow matches it directly. This kind of sentiment linkage usually moves fast. The rest, like ETH and SOL, I’d put on the watchlist for now and wait for Bitcoin to set the direction.
This low-rate expectation thing—people can keep talking about it, but whether it really happens still depends on the data.
What do you all think this time: chase it on the news, or wait for Bitcoin to make its own move?
