On October 5 at 12:00 Kyiv time, Binance will automatically close all futures positions for PROMPT, PUMPBTC, and BOB. At the settlement price—without you.
After the announcement for PUMPBTC, −30% in one day; for BOB, −22%. And there are still open positions of about $3.4 million.
Small print: starting at 11:30, orders are only for closing. In the last hour, the insurance fund doesn’t work: liquidation happens with a single order for whatever is left in the order book; the remainder—through ADL. The stop may trigger much worse than the calculated estimate.
What I do with this: in the trade card, I add a point: “check whether there is a delisting announcement.” I wouldn’t take these three anyway: by my rule, the turnover is $50 million per day, and for them it’s $8–12 million.
I’ve been through a thin market already: on 23.09, my limit order for SUI filled on a falling candle, and the stop was triggered 36 seconds later.
