It is reported that the issue was caused by a vulnerability in the Omni top-up/withdrawal system’s interaction with smart contracts. The problem has been fixed, and the project team has pledged full compensation.
The stolen funds were then transferred to KuCoin and partially bridged to BTC. Core services are expected to resume gradually, but deposits and withdrawals for EVM, BSC, Polygon, TON, and others will be paused for about 12 hours.
