30-year U.S. Treasury yields have surged to the highest level since 2002. Every time Bitcoin touches 85,000, it gets pushed back down 📉
On September 30, the PCE came in below expectations. $BTC within an hour jumped from 83,800 to 85,500, but yields refused to ease; the upside was quickly erased. According to CoinDesk, 10-year U.S. Treasuries are around 5.3%, and 30-year Treasuries are above 5.6%.
Latest data from Binance: BTC is at 84,230, with the 7-day high/low at 85,650 / 82,563. The daily RSI is 76, which is overheated. The 4-hour RSI at 48.7 has cooled off. Funding rates are 0.0071%, and leverage isn’t crowded. Glassnode notes that long-term holders’ coins are concentrated around 85,000, so there is naturally selling pressure right there.
My take 👇
If the 4-hour close holds above 85,650 and U.S. Treasury yields pull back, then the next target would be the 30-day high of 87,396;
If it breaks below 82,563, first watch MA20 around 81,677. If it then reclaims 84,000, the bearish scenario would be invalidated.
This stretch of Bitcoin looks more like it’s watching the mood of Treasuries. Which side do you think breaks first?🤔
