BNBChain hard fork code just dropped on GitHub. Here's what's shipping:

CAS20 → compliance primitives at protocol level, not bolted on afterwards

Payment Lane → dedicated block space allocation for transfers (separate from smart contract execution)

Millisecond-precision timestamps → contracts can now access sub-second timing data

The interesting bit: they're baking compliance and payment routing directly into consensus rules instead of handling it at the application layer. Means fewer workarounds for regulated apps and potentially lower latency for payment flows since they're not competing with DeFi contract calls for block space.
