Just took a look at the order book—$DATA , this huge bearish candle really smashed hard. In the last 24h it’s down 31%, current price is $0.001, and the trading volume is only 112K. According to Binance’s real-time data, once low-liquidity low-cap altcoins get hit by a panic sell, you won’t even be able to run.
I placed a small order this morning and caught the knife—now I’m down by more than a dozen percent. I’ll take it. $BURGER and $OOKI are also falling—don’t rush to bottom-fish.
That said, $SYN popped 21%, with a $4M trading volume—there’s capital playing it. My position sizing uses a fixed-percentage approach; I never allocate more than 5% of the total position to any single coin. I run the Kelly formula and then cut it down to three-tenths to prevent myself from getting carried away. I only add to positions using a pyramid strategy: the more it rises, the less I add. In contrast, reverse-pyramiding—adding less when it’s rising and more when it’s falling—is basically asking for death.
For something as volatile as $DATA , either wait for it to stabilize and volume to pick up, or just watch from the sidelines. Don’t go all-in betting on a rebound—altcoin season hasn’t arrived yet. Also keep an eye on $SCRT.
