$MON Singapore-compliant stablecoin—do we really need to first dock with this high-performance chain???
StraitsX today officially announced: it plans to natively issue XSGD and XUSD on Monad in early 2027. XSGD will be the first Singapore-dollar stablecoin on-chain. Cross-border payment and card plans are still being explored and are not products that are already live. On the other hand, Monad itself threw out “Privacy is coming” ahead of Singapore’s Open Summit on 10/6, but the details of the privacy layer haven’t been fully revealed yet.
Meanwhile, the Binance/Ernst & Young sustainability board market has already started getting jittery: current price about 0.03196, open about 0.02731, high about 0.03454, low about 0.02698, up about +17.0% over 24h, volume about 103 million U, around 880,000 trades, and position holdings about 1.206 billion coins ≈ 38.54 million U, funding about +0.005%. My take is—stablecoins give next year’s entry ticket, while leverage is filling today’s sentiment first. After that, we’ll see whether the summit has any real substance—otherwise, we may be front-loading and draining a wave first.
