$XRP Are we really going to get our hands on that Nasdaq “vault stock” ticket???
At the Armada and Evernorth merger shareholders’ meeting, on-site summaries reportedly said the proposal has passed. The merged company plans to list XRPN. At settlement, the books at least show about 473.3 million XRP; official final results and the Nasdaq’s final listing requirements still aren’t fully in place yet. Binance $XRPUSDT perpetual price is around 1.491, with an open around 1.500, high around 1.544, and low around 1.476. Over the past 24h, it’s about -0.59%. Volume is about 1.10 billion U across roughly 2.43 million trades. Open interest is about 325 million XRP ≈ 485 million U. Funding rate is about +0.003%.
My take: this isn’t a straight line with the spot ETF single-day inflow back on 9/30—“vault stock” is essentially opening another door for the U.S. equities channel, but passing the vote ≠ immediately being able to buy the ticket. How much cash gets pulled via redemptions and the settlement timetable are what matter for pricing. Today it’s also stacked with the monthly window to release up to about 1 billion units (held in custody), making it easier for short-term capital to watch first and then choose a side.
In this $XRP spell of abnormal volatility, are you more focused on the Nasdaq narrative, or on the pressure from releases? Feel free to leave a comment and let’s talk
