After staring at the perfect K-line chart in the afternoon, my brain was almost turning into a K-line chart too. I promptly shut off my monitor and went out for some fresh air. I thought I was going to “breathe in,” but the air actually came from Vientiane City Mall 😂 I originally just wanted to stroll around casually, but in the end I came back with two bags—an oversized autumn suit, and a pair of sneakers I’d been waiting forever to finally get, now that they’re available. When I looked in the mirror in the fitting room, the “man­tou” back home was probably lying on my pillow. Spending this money felt way better than cutting meat. And in a certain sense, it’s also me doing swing trades for the GDP. Now I’ll have somewhere to go this weekend, so I can wear my new clothes. Worth it.
